Dr Tom Coffey

Tom is a well-known and respected figure in health and NHS circles with over 20 years’ clinical experience:
• As an Accident and Emergency service doctor – for 23 years
• As a GP partner in the South London area – for over 22 years.
Tom is a commissioner who specialises children, mental health and acute services. He was the chairman of the Professional Executive Committee at the former Wandsworth PCT and currently Joint Director for Emergency Care at NHS England (London). He teaches medical students at St George’s Medical School in south London and was previously
chairman of the health think tank “New Health Network”.
Tom was awarded the OBE in the 2009 new year’s honours and is a season ticket holder at Chelsea F.C.
